About Me

"Just being kind is all this sad world needs."

-Princess Di

I created this blog to show what kindness looks like and kindness is actually all around.  I am a Viet Kieu, Vietnamese-born American.  In many visits back to my village over the years, I’ve observed that handouts will never be enough and that perhaps giving a hand (and hand-me-down shoes) would go further.  I love sports, especially tennis and recently pickleball.  My mission is to teach English and introduce sports as a lifestyle to everyone who wants to learn, one village at a time.  The Village Project would be “one last thing” I hope to complete with all that I have.  That is, time.

No act of kindness,

no matter how small,

is ever wasted.

The Village Project

PHAN RI CUA, VIETNAM

Phan Ri Cua is a small fishing village in Vietnam and also my birth place.  Life is simple but a bit lackadaisical here.

The Village Project is my personal mission to help people lead more hopeful and healthy life-styles.
